Rod has over 20 years’ experience as a public-sector policy advisor and manager, and private-sector consultant. He has worked on a wide range of complex challenges across public sector governance, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and energy transitions.

Rod’s previous roles include time at Deloitte as well as smaller consulting firms. In the public sector, he has worked with the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet and the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption. Over the last decade, his consulting work has focused on climate change, energy policy and water.

He brings an understanding of the importance of integrating a wide range of knowledge sources and public participation into policy decision-making. He led the work for The Ian Potter Foundation and The Myer Foundation that informed the establishment of Watertrust Australia.
