About Watertrust Australia
Watertrust Australia is an independent organisation, philanthropically funded to help resolve systemic roadblocks in water policy. Our work creates the conditions for more constructive, inclusive and evidence-based decision-making. We don’t take sides – our role is to bring the right people to the table to enable better processes that lead to better outcomes everyone can live with.
Watertrust is funded by a coalition of philanthropies working together to provide financial support for an initial 10-year period beginning in 2021. We are incubated at the Australian Academy of Science and have team members based in Canberra, South Australia, Northern Territory and New South Wales.
