Peter Horne
Principal
Peter has a background in environmental and agricultural sciences with experience in partnership brokering, often in complex contexts. Before joining Watertrust Australia, Peter spent 25 years working in the Indo-Pacific region on strengthening agricultural livelihood systems that are being challenged by major shifts in the natural resource base, climate and markets.
He then spent more than a decade with the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) shaping and managing collaborative research relationships between Australia and countries in the Indo-Pacific.
Peter has a PhD in agricultural systems from the University of New England and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in environmental sciences from Griffith University.
