André Carstens, B.Com (Hons), FCA, MAICD, is the Chief Executive Officer of Colonial Foundation, a charitable trust whose vision is to see all Australians living a fair, healthy and fulfilling life.
After 20 years working as a CEO or Chief Financial Officer for major financial and service industry organisations including Spotless Group, Colonial First State Group, Aviva Australia and the Gribbles Group, André is now focused on contributing to the not-for-profit and community sector.
He is a Non-Executive Director of the Regional Australia Institute, Orygen Limited and the Futurity Education Foundation.
André has a strong interest in corporate governance and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
