Congratulations to our Chair Kathryn Fagg AC

We are delighted to share that our Chair Kathryn Fagg has been appointed a Companion of the Order of Australia (AC) in this year’s King’s Birthday Honours.

This is a well-earned recognition of Kathryn’s outstanding contribution to Australian public life. She has made her mark across business, government and the not-for-profit sector, always bringing people together with care and integrity.

As inaugural Chair of Watertrust, Kathryn has played a central role in shaping our direction and the values we stand for. Since the organisation’s early days, her leadership has been grounded in curiosity, a respect for different perspectives and a strong belief in the power of long-term, thoughtful conversations. These qualities remain central to how we work, especially on the complex and contested issues that sit at the heart of water policy.

Kathryn was previously recognised as an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in 2019. This latest honour reflects the depth and breadth of her contribution over many years.

We are proud to have her guiding our work and thrilled to see her service recognised in such a significant way.
