Program Manager

Paul has over 40 years’ experience in modelling river systems. He has worked on the Condamine-Balonne system for 35 years, including the development of models for the both Queensland Water Plans, the CSIRO Sustainable Rivers Study and the Murray-Darling Basin Plan.

During this time, Paul has investigated options for better managing the system to improve the river health, whilst quantifying the impact on water allocations. Paul has experience with working with all stakeholders and sees computer modelling as a means of exploring ways of balancing the competing demands on our river systems to achieve a more sustainable outcome.

Paul has a B Sc and PhD from the University of Queensland.
